broadcasting organization. SRG SSR is a non-profit organisation,
funded mainly through radio and television licence fees (70%) and
making the remaining income from advertising and sponsorship.
SF 1 – a Swiss television channel run under the public Schweizer Fernsehen SRG SSR idee suisse* broadcasting group. It is the first of the three national German language channels in Switzerland.
3sat (in association with ORF, ARD, ZDF and SF DRS*) – a public, advertising-free, television network in Central Europe. 3sat was established for cultural programming broadcasts, over satellite networks.
