  AFGHANISTAN

Ariana Television Network is a private, partisan, satellite television
in Kabul that along with an Ariana radio station is part of the Ariana
Television Network (ATN). ATN programming places particular emphasis
on education, health, children's programming, women's and world issues. Viewers can also call live and talk to on-air presenters or request songs to be played on the network. Ariana is owned by an Afghan American Ehsan Bayat, who also owns AWCC (Afghan Wireless Communication Company) the first communications company to start operating in Afghanistan, after the fall of the hardline Islamic fundamentalists, the Taliban.

Ehsan Bayat is also trying to help the Afghans with his foundation, THE BAYAT FOUNDATION.
(Ehsan Bayat (1963-present) born in Kabul, Afghanistan. In 1979 or 1980, he went to the USA and obtained a bachelor degree in engineering. His family was influential in the commercial section of Afghanistan. After the fall of Taliban's regime he came back to his country and founded Afghan Wireless Communication Company and Bayat Foundation, which the latter played a crucial role on opening the Ariana Television Network, that has large audiences not only in Afghanistan but also among Afghan immigrants in Pakistan)

Ariana Afghanistan TV is a satellite television channel based in Orange, California, USA, with branches in Hamburg, Germany and Kabul, Afghanistan. It is privately owned channel broadcast by GlobeCast Satellite Services. The owner, Nabil Miskinyar, has a business office in Irvine, California, which operates the three studios.
(Nabil Miskinyar is an Afghan TV host personality who currently runs a TV channel from United States called Ariana Afghanistan TV. Nabil Miskinyar was born in Kabul, Afghanistan). Launch date 2006, 24-hour global broadcast.

Shamshad TV is a satellite television station in Afghanistan, which was launched in early 2006. The channel broadcasts 24 hours a day, providing educational, news, shows, dramas, and entertaining programs to both local areas of Afghanistan as well as other countries via satellite. Shamshad TV programs are mainly in Pashto language.
